The Shure Best Practices & Techniques Wireless Masterclass covers all aspects of wireless audio to give you, regardless of your level of experience, a solid foundation in the fundamentals of wireless technology to be applied to live, theatre or broadcast events. By thoroughly understanding radio signals, antenna types and distribution, transmitter and receiver design, analogue and digital transmission, frequency coordination, and more, you will be able to confidently select, install, and operate wireless systems in virtually any situation, from small informal events to large-scale productions. 

This is a one-day training course (10am to 4pm) about wireless audio technology rather than product-specific training. The principles and techniques covered apply to any wireless audio system used in various situations.

Food & Drink: Kargo MKT will be serving hot/cold drinks and food on site throughout the day. There’s also plenty of local cafe / restaurant/ bar options right on our doorstep.

Walking / Cycling: MediaCity is easy to reach by bike or on foot using a network of direct, safe and attractive cycling and walking routes. Located along the Irwell River Park, National Cycle Network (NCN) Route 55 runs through the heart of MediaCity to Salford, Chorlton and South Manchester.

Tram: As well as having our own dedicated tram stop in the centre of MediaCity, we also have two further Metrolink lines within walking distance – the Eccles line and the brand-new Trafford Park line.

By Car: The postcode for MediaCity is M50 2EQ. We’re located conveniently close to town, with only a 10-15 minute drive to Manchester City Centre. We have three car parks on site, two of those are multi-story car parks, one located on Broadway (postcode: M50 2TG), and one located within Quayside (post code: M50 3AH).

EV / Charging: MediaCity offers the latest EV charging facilities with access to the most reliable, rapid charging network - ChargePoint Services, which has Evyve Network connections onsite in our multi-storey car park.

Bus: Getting to MediaCity via the bus couldn’t be any easier, with a number of direct bus routes available. Some popular routes include: Number 50 & 29.
