Attendees at London's Kia Oval will have a unique chance to play an active role and experience cutting-edge networked AV technology whilst testing their driving skills in an exclusive AVoIPoE showcase. AVoIPoE merges Audio and Video over Internet Protocol with Power over Ethernet, enabling the development of networked AV/IT systems that are powered, controlled, monitored, and managed over a network. In collaboration with E-Sports Scotland and Challenger Mode, technology consultancy, Broadtek is hosting an e-sports motor racing competition on a fully branded simulation rig. AVoIPoE's founder, Siya Fakher, highlights how this event exemplifies the ease of creating flexible, low-latency AVoIPoE systems for diverse applications. Visitors can witness equipment from various manufacturers in action and consult experts on AVoIPoE design integration into their workflows.

Esports has long been associated with gaming and gaming culture, including all the tropes of lone streamers in their bedrooms, still somehow hanging around what has become a major global entertainment sector. But esports is a still growing sector with a vast ecosystem growing around it from event management to broadcast to IT to merchandising. In this panel, we'll look at the ways in which esports is taking its place as a major sports vertical, how it might develop in the next few years and what opportunities there are for people in the media industry to get involved.
