IDT have teamed up with Thermal Vision Research to give visitors a selection of specialist imaging choices – slow motion and infrared imaging.
Slo-Mo Cameras – Instant Replay!
IDT are about to rock the world of slow motion. Slow motion action replays have always been a challenge for high speed cameras, due to the download and processing required before the footage is ready for broadcast. That is set to change with a new fibre based system from IDT. The very compact camera heads can stream imagery back to a recorder, where the images; clean enough to be broadcast straight from the camera; can be accessed and broadcast while the recording is still being made.
Slo-Mo Cameras – Studio and in the field
For a more independent and self-contained camera, IDT’s ultra compact O-10 captures over 1000 stunning UHD images per second, and includes many features designed to speed up workflow. HD-SDI, removable SSD memory, battery power, multiple interfaces, even control from iPhone & Android, so no PC is needed!
What sets this apart from other ultra-slomo cameras? Well, firstly the size but it doesn’t end there. Normally, a global shutter would mean reduced image quality, but IDT’s expertise with very low noise global shutter sensors ensures an accurate recording of even the fastest movements with the highest of image quality. The O-10 has a sensitivity of 2000 ISO, and a 12-stop latitude.
For subjects that require a faster frame rate, all the above advantages are also available on the O-9 camera, which has a 2560x1440 sensor, and frames at an impressive 3000fps at full resolution.
Control for both cameras is from Windows or MAC based software. There are many automation features to keep the operation simple. The full featured software also runs on iOS, so operation from iPad (with the WiFi adapter) or iPhone makes for a very portable system.
No longer are these cameras too slow or too low-res for TV applications. In addition to imaging temperatures, Thermal Vision research cameras can be used for night time covert imaging.

The Litepanels Difference
Visually accurate Daylight, Tungsten and Variable Color Balanced Fixtures
Litepanels offers LED lighting fixtures that are daylight balanced, tungsten balanced, and for some fixtures, variable color balance that can be dialed to any color temperature between daylight and tungsten. Take control of your lighting environment by matching any ambient color temperature or creating your own with high-quality, custom-made LED fixtures.
Proper thermal management ensuring consistent performance
Achieve a serious ROI and enjoy years of maintenance-free performance with LEDs that are properly cooled and not overdriven, resulting in tens of thousands of hours without refocusing or changing a bulb. Litepanels LED fixtures are moderated to provide accurate color temperature and consistent illumination for a long, long time to provide the best return on investment.
Litepanels has always been committed to protecting the environment by not using any hazardous materials in the construction of our LED lighting fixtures. The fixtures themselves can be recycled at the end of their lifecycle. Every Litepanels fixture is free from the harmful UV emissions found in more traditional lighting sources.
Shoot confidently at any frame rate or shutter angle without experiencing flicker or partially exposed images. Flicker-free light output is not an inherent quality of LEDs, but it is with every Litepanels unit thanks to our analogue dimming system.
